My new 12" collapsible Dob. A little bit heavy, but gives beautiful images.

My little Orion 4.5 inch f/4 imaging Newtonian OTA on a Porta AltAz mount with a Manfrotto photo tripod serves as another lightweight grab-and-go set up for occasional wide field viewing.

Yep.....It sure is. Because the 10" F/4 primary mirror is mounted in the box 'above' the Dec. axis, the 16 pound + bowling ball is used as a splendid counter-weight.

If you are into using a different kind of finder.........Try a homemade 'periscope style' 30mm Off-Set Finder that attaches magnetically to the Dob-Buster's plywood telescope tube just above the horizontal focuser. Easy to align and adjust. Very user-friendly.

My 4.25" f/6 reflector on an altazimuth Springfield mount w/ crutch tripod. This is my solution for an observer who cannot stand very long, bend, twist or lift. It works for me!

Thats 22"! Wow nice beast! Made by Kluge! Another reference in the buisness! Have fun guy's! And clear skies! (which we haven't had much of!) I'm an early morning observer! Early to bed, up at 2 or 3 am, no more heat or haze! Clear skies but missed the Sagittarius playground!
