I've owned many different oculars over the years but here's what I use at the moment: a 3-6mm Tele Vue Nagler zoom, a 4mm Burgess Optical/TMB Planetary, a 5mm Tele Vue Nagler Type 6, a 7mm Tele Vue Nagler Type 6, an 8-24mm Vixen Lanthanum zoom, an 8.8mm Meade Series 5000 UWA, a 9mm Tele Vue Nagler Type 6 (up for sale), a 9mm PMO orthoscopic, an 11mm Tele Vue Ploessl, the incomparable 13mm Tele Vue Ethos, a 17mm Tele Vue Ploessl, two 19mm Tele Vue Panoptics, a 25mm Celestron orthoscopic, a 25mm Kellner, a 26mm Tele Vue Ploessl, two 30mm Celestron Ultimas, and a 35mm Tele Vue Panoptic. I also have a 2x Celestron Ultima Barlow lens, a 2.5x Tele Vue Powermate, and a number of nebula and color filters.

My signature says it all. Guess i'm a fan of the Televue community. But in my 8" SCT they do work well. Tuff sometimes with the 7mm Nagler T1 but its some glass.

Boy do I feel like an under achiever with just my small three piece collection. At some point I plan on adding an 11mmT6, replacing the 9mm TMB with a 9mmT6 (for no other reason than to keep with the green color scheme) and maybe something a little higher power (for those rare above average seeing nights) or replacing my Meade cheapy barlow. Frankly though, I don't feel I'm missing anything.

30mm Antares Modified Erfle
17, 13, and 8mm Baader Hyperions
8, 6, and 4mm BO/TMB Planetaries
Almost one year to the date when I got my first Hyperion, I added two more today (13 and 8mm). Here's my first post to either this or the original thread.
With two 14mm tuning rings, I can acheive 6 and 5mm with the 8mm Hyperion...in that case, the 8 and 6mm BO/TMBs might be out the door this summer sometime to a new home...it's going to take a lot of comparing first. I'm afraid to let go of them and regret it because it's no simple task these days to get your hands on these EPs!

Well what do we have here in this little old Pelican 1300 case?

Oh, look at that, just landed in Auckland, the first-born in the Ethos range.

Is this the first TV EP to come in fitted foam? I don't think (though I might be wrong) even the Terminagler comes in anything other than bubble.
Notice how the top half of the foam fits nicely on the empty side of the case. I'm thinking the 8 Ethos will fit nicely there ;-} I just called TV to ask them if they packaging would be the same, but they didn't know. I hope it is.
Here is my 1.25 inch EP kit, complete with Glatter and Catseye collimation gear (Teletube XL is in another bag).

Rob.

I have a Baader 24mm on order also. Why are the Baader Hyperions so hard to get, i.e. so few astro stores carry the line? You'll probably get your 24mm before I get mine; seeing as you live in the great State of Idaho--while I live in Kansas with its Pony Express system!!
