Not much to it. Just removed the eyepiece on the finder and the nose piece on the dsi. Roughed them up a bit with sand paper and super glued in place. Got the idea here.

Nice one JAB For the time being I'm reluctant to use my new SX Lodestar cam soley for electronic finder duties and as the grandchildren have returned a PC I'll be using it with an old SX MX5 CCD via the slow RS323 lead - the software has a rapid refresh rate in 'focus mode' - set-up below - the shelf above PC for laptop used for LX200 imaging

some more experiments with the finder-cam with a larger Jupiter 85mm f/2 lens and some 'deep' DSO imaging in 1m-2m exposures like M57 fov

and finally M31 through haze - nicely framed and amazing for such a tiny setup. Must redo when higher in sky
