Hello,

Picture taken on may 10th 20:40 UTC with a TOA130 on CGE.
Webcam spc900nc, 600 images processed with Registax V4.

It shows from left to right Dorsa Smirnov, Posidonius and Chacomac rilles, part of Rima G. Bond.

Hi Alain!
Magnificient shot of the target! Lots and lots of surface detail present - and a fantastic presence!

I happened to be on the same neighbourhood 43 minutes earlier. This quite fuzzy shot is taken at 19.57 UT on the 10th of May 2008. So this is only a single shot afocally with digital pocket camera, but the timing is right and one gets to compare a bit the light conditions.

P.S. sorry about the time error in my original reply - got an additional hour somewhere... now it is corrected!

P.P.S also brightened up the pic a bit as it was originally a bit on the dark side...

Hello Timo,

Thank you for your kind words which improve the fun of sharing. This was my second session with my new TOA130. What a fantastic optic .

I'm waiting for a DMK in order to improve the turbulence freeze factor.

Moon has always been one of my favorites since Apollo 8 and 2001 space odyssey
