I received my new Atlas EQ-G (non-goto) mount today that had been back ordered! I almost have everything I need to for imaging again... Sweet! Clear Skies!

I am waiting on a Atlas as well.
Are you planning on using EQMOD with it?
I see in your sig. you have a SV66ED. Are you going to be
putting any other OTA's on it?
Please be sure to give us a first light report after you use it.

Yes, I'm planning to use the EDMOD. I already have it. I just have my SV66 right now. I did have a 10 inch LX200 but sold it to fund this 'project'. I'll be adding a 6 or 8 inch SCT at some point...

Not only that, be sure to know how to get the PEC-curve
and use it!!!
The Atlas EQ or whatever is a very capable mount, once
running PEC it is astonishing for the $$$.
Any other mount that can do +/- 2" for the $$$$?????

Thanks guys! I am looking forward to enjoying the Atlas. I'll have it seriously undermounted for the moment with a SV66... but, I'll remedy that in the future.

I've been out of the loop for a couple of months. There's a lot going on in my personal life right now. It will be nice to unwind with the new mount. BTW, are you going to Cherry Springs next weekend? I'll be there late Thursday evening... hopefully I can get done with work early enough and make it there before dark.
