It’s not finishing something when your tank is empty that makes you a stronger person. It’s brushing yourself off and refacing the foe that defeated you with the same determination and willingness to fight that you had when you began your journey.

Not sure what to say, I clicked on it and it worked for me.

In any case if you do a google search on shuttle and AP and damage you can probably find it.

The gist of the article was that during blast off there was damage to the pad, more than had ever happened before. NASA is investigating because the damage may be enough to postpone any more launches.

It worked for me -- but from reading it it looks like it was what "used to be" that received the damage. It doesn't sound like a difficult fix.

Oh ok, if you want to see some damage, try and find pictures of the damage that the Saturn V launch would do

Well NASA was quoted in the article as saying this was the worst damage ever from a blast off. They also said that while there are two pads one is in the process of being modified for use by the next generation of space vehicles.

Not to say this cant be fixed, but my read was that we really need not just to fix the damage from the most recent launch, but also upgrade the pads if we are to continue launching stuff into space.
