Is that a Hyper Star attached to the Celestron? Any comments/thoughts on it? I'm considering buying one and would sure appreciate your review of it.

Anyone have any pics of Mars? It has been continually foggy, cloudy and rainy in Sacramento.

Here are a few Moon photos I took with Neximage. I used Registax V4.0.1.1, and a little Paint Shop Pro to crop images. Using CPC 800 XLT.

I like it close, like that. However, it appears that the focus/contrast is giving you white spots. You may want to go for better original focus and less processing. It's hard, no?

NGC 869 taken on 10/14/08, 2030 hours local. CPC1100 with a Nikon 8700 mounted on a "Scope-Tronics" adapter. Camera was set on manual at F-5 and on blub for 64 seconds via a remote electronic release.
