Probably the closest thing to an astronomy watch you'll find without spending megabucks. It shows the moon transit points, age, and a graphic of the current moon for your location. Also gives sunset and sunrise. It's easy to get that data for future or past dates too (well you do have to scroll so it's not easy to look in the far future or past).
Now if it also displayed local sidereal I'd marry it.

Looks nice! My question is why is it called a hunting watch and does it have a lot of features that are useless?
I ask this because I have given up on digital watchs, they seem to have to many functions for my low tech brain

It's meant for hunting - you think the astro market is big enough for Casio to make a specialty astro watch?
In use there's not many useless features. The ones I can think of are fishing hunting alarm (it tells you when a good fishing hunting time is based on the moon transit). I just leave that off so am not even aware of it. And the memo feature - this is probably not really useful to either the astronomer or the fisherman.
I haven't worn a watch in 20 years, but since I'm staying up late now need to know the time. This one works for me.
