I have a funny feeling that I may not be receiving mine until later on this year. I called OPT and they were not able to find what place in line I was when I reserved my order. They had changed their system so that may have changed my place in line. So far, they have yet to call me and let me know.
Trever did you speak with a manager? Try getting hold of Vincent Giordano. He's the assistant floor manager. All orders are dated so I doubt you'll lose your place in the queue. Good thing you pre-ordered. In the Lunt group, Markus stated that pre-orders are increasing and it will take until Spring 2009 to fulfill all pre-orders.

No worries here. I will just wait patiently until I hear something from them. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks at the most?

All is good as I have been confirmed to be near the top of the list. AND to top it off, I also upgraded to the Feathertouch focuser option, so an even better scope will be here soon!

Rayna is doing a good job selling those Feathertouch upgrades! She got me too, last week.

Can't wait until I hear a first light report. The Feathertouch will be a fine upgrade. Did you also consider upgrading to the B1200 blocking filter?

Someone please tell me about the feather touch option. If it's worth money, I still have the time to make the change.

I thought about it, but since I am mostly visual and webcam imaging, I figure the B600 will still be doable. I may consider it further, but I would need to get in touch with Vincent soon.

I called them and will also probably upgrade the scope to the B1200 version plus the feathertouch focuser. I know that I am running out of things to sell.
I sure hope it is worth it.

Interesting. OPT has a FeatherTouch upgrade for all configurations of the LS60 scope. It's very tempting to upgrade.

I couldnt get the B1200 without ruining my top place on the list. It isnt that important to me so I guess I will stick with the B600.

Hi Trever, It is very easy to switch our the blocking filter sizes. If you decided to upgrade to the B1200 that should not change your position on the list. Please let your dealer know and we can revise the order. Thanks, Rikki Hocking

No one has said either way, but will this adapter work for the clamshell on the 60mm Ha scopes? I have a Cg5 mount so I assumed this would work. Maybe Rikki or Markus can chime in if no one knows...

I ordered the LS60T50DS w/B1200 last week from OPT. They said I was first on the list with the FT upgrade and could expect it in a few weeks.

That's interesting. That almost make it sound like you'll get your scope a lot sooner if you upgrade to the FT...
