The Simpsons tackle LP new
      #2485773 - 06/27/08 04:07 AM

Has anyone here seen The Simpsons episode, "Scuse Me While I Miss the Sky"? It first aired in 2003. Lisa decides to pursue Astronomy as a career, but after getting a telescope realizes that LP is ruining the view and goes on a campaign to get Springfield to turn down its lights. It's a really cute episode. They must not have had a good astronomy consultant though as it appears that Lisa is observing with the reflector telescope pointed in the wrong direction at the ground! You can actually view the episode for free here, Simpsons Episode.

Yes, I've seen that episode a time or two. There's also the one where Bart discovers a comet.

That's good. Put the issue where people are looking. Now if we can get Hank Hill in on the action. Cartoon figures have political clout, you know.
