I have two Hensoldt 8x30 Fero D16 binoculars. One with laser filter and reticle and the other without these. The latter because of no laser filter has a brighter image.
The one with this filter is more comfortable to look through.Like the more expensive binoculars. The other one a bit more uncomfortable. I wonder has been damaged some way. So that the tubes might not be aligned? Someone who has an opinion about that? About having it repaired?

Hi, Gaute, welcome to binoculars!
If you find one of your binoculars uncomfortable to look through, it might be out of collimation. This rears it's ugly head as eye strain or even headaches while viewing. Your eyes may be straining to "cross" in an unnatural way to try to compensate for the misalignment of the binoculars.
Here's a link from the Best Of at the top of page 1:
Collimation thread
Those Hensoldts very likely use the "old school" eccentric ring collimation rather than the "prism tilt" designs of many newer models.
Hope this helps,
Rich V

Hello, Rich V,
Thank you so much for your serious answer. And also for that very interesting link. I know just a little about binoculars. So I will study what you wrote and that link thoroughly and some way try to make improvements on the misadjustments.
Greetings Gaute

Gaute, you may find this article interesting; section 5 in particular:
Checking collimation with the sun
This should give you a good idea of the principles of binocular alignment (but not the mechanical ones). I haven't seen these binoculars but my similar Japanese Porro prism binoculars have a lock ring on the objective end and an eccentric ring behind it. Turning the eccentric ring will move the axis of the objective lens. With a little fooling around you may improve things. Just don't blind yourself!
When all else fails, to really get things right you need to find a shop that has a binocular collimator and the knowhow to use it.
Good luck,
Rich V

I buy a lot of binoculars in pawn and junk shops. A quick and easy test of collimation is to look at something distant that really stands out from the background, like the writing on a distant shop sign, traffic sign, or even a single tree on the horizon. Once you have found the object, slowly move the binoculars away from your face, while still looking at the object. This makes it more difficult for the brain to 'force' the two images together, and they will separate if the collimation is out. You will get eyestrain, or at least feel uncomfortable if the error makes the images appear VERTICALLY displaced from each other and also if the images displace HORIZONTALLY, so that your eyes have to DIVERGE. The eyes can tolerate some Convergence, as this is what we do when we look at a very close object.

Ridiculous binocular collection
I've cut it twice and it's still too short.

Hello brentwood. Your last tip has been quite a revelation. I understand the principle. Simple as genious proceedures are. I have used it on several binoculars and it is indeed unveiling. Thank you so much for answering. Kind Regards Gaute
