Hello, a friend has asked me to collimate his "headache" binoculars - they are giving both of us throbbing crania.
Is there any way to completely disassemble these binoculars to restore the retaining clips to a functional level? Right now there is no way to collimate them at all - the best I can do involves some horizontal skew at infinity.

drl ,
Is this model actually called 20 x 80 Headache ?
The name should be on the prism housing cover .
If it is a genuine " Headache " model , then no mechanical adjustment will ever prevent it from giving users a headache .
There have been many imitations of this rare model produced in recent times , some of which can be adjusted quite easily , at least to provide alignment for one fixed IPD .
Good luck ! Kenny
