I finally got a break in the weather so i could get something on the NGC7023. This was a tough target for me. Light pollution in the area of the sky kept my exposure time down to 2 min subs. I need to cool my CCD, lots of noise over 2 min

Ok,
I finally could go outside after a break in the weather and a knee surgery after which I was unable to lift tripod and mount.
Saturday was a nice calm day and image was taken through a thin layer of cirrus clouds.

I managed to get out between the clouds last night. Transparency was terrible, but I was able to get some subs before it clouded over.
7x4mins, 3 darks Losmandy G11 Orion ED80 Canon 350d ISO 1600 Guided with LX50/Orion Starshoot DSCI Processed with Nebulosity and Photoshop ES5

Tough target when you can only get one minute subs!

Iris nebula, NGC 7023 Taken on July, 29, 2008. from by backyard obs. in Cakovec, Croatia. Newtonian 8" F/5, Baader 2" MPCC Skywatcher EQ6 SynScan Pro, QHY2Pro CCD Total exposure: 85 minutes (10x3 and 11x5 minutes) DSS, PixInsight LE, Photoshop 7, Noiseware Professional.
