The article has been updated to reflect the new charts. CN will be hosting the files to take the load off the other server, but it may be a couple of days yet before I get them transferred up.

Has anyone produced an index key for these charts...for us newbies who still have problems figuring out which chart goes with which area of the sky.
These are fantastic!! Thanks!!

Color looks great - but the link to the B&W charts appears broken.

For the chart index, I think you can print the page on which you select individual files to download. That worked for me.

Someone asked if it´s possible to invert the B/W and Mike answered:

Use the "invert" function of any photo progam. Mike
I´ve been trying very hard to search for solutions on how to do this but come up empty. The pdf files doesn´t allow such manipulations. I´ve tried using the screenshot tool in Adobe and pasted the result into programs like Irfanview and GIMP but have not been able to invert the picture.
So, if anyone has a good idea of what software to use, and preferably how to do it, I´d be glad to hear of it!

There is a way to invert the .pdf display. In Adobe Reader, go to the Edit menu and select Preferences. In the Preferences menu (on the left side), select Accessibility. On the right side of the display, check "Replace document colors", click on the "Custom Color" radio button, deselect "Only change the color of black text or line art." and deselect "Change the color of line art as well as text." This will invert the B&W. Unfortunately, this does not affect the printing of the .pdf, but you can do a Print Screen and paste it into your favorite application. I know this is not an ideal way of doing this, but it does work.

By the way, make sure you set Adobe Reader back to its defaults, as these changes will remain for all documents until you do.

I am getting senile! The above instructions are correct, except you must SELECT, not DESELECT "Change the color of line art as well as text."
