As of last night, I have found about 57 M's. I spotted in order...M51, M63, M39, M70, M69, M54, then M26. Tried to make it 58, but couldn't spot M55 at all. But 5 very faint M's is good with me. M54 is a very interesting cluster, it looked like a star with a glow at 45.6x. At 90 and 130x, it was obvious it was a cluster, but as I expected, no resolving was detected...but I still found it, that counts! I could tell as the night went on, it got a little more humid, and viewing faint clusters 10 degrees or less of the horizon, meant looking into ALOT of atmosphere. My favorites were, obvoiusly, the galaxies!. Hey, hope it's gonna be clear tonight, wanna find M94 and M106. Just need to find M55 and M75 for Saggitarius to be done.

Jake - I hope you are enjoying each object by spending some time observing each. Remember to "stop and smell the roses" when you find each object, otherwise the stargazing Gods will poke you in the eyes when you are sleeping at night for not giving each object its just attention.
And you can't say you will slow down when you need glasses! Mr Q

Don't worry bout that Q, I spend at least 5 minutes changing eyepieces, and my averted vision M51 I must have spent 10 minutes staring at, and following it as it left the FOV, the 2 little smadges with glow around them was great, and M63 was cool to. Even though I can't really see any detail, galaxies are still interesting. No glasses for me, I use contacts...WAY better then glasses, and they don't fog in cold weather! Them Stargazing gods never poke me in the eyes, so I guess I'm doin' the right thing.
