Well, I'll try to be more serious....
Here is my 4" Unitron with the wieghted clock drive, tracking Saturn. This is in a cornfield across the street from my house in Eureka, Pa. This is a timed exposure with light being provided by the moon.

That's beautiful Dave. Ever been to Toroweap on the north rim but on the west end of the park?
Toroweap's one of my top three favorite spots in the Canyon. I've never taken the scope there, though. Yet.
That's another long, bumpy dirt road!

one more from the other direction...
Your views look good in either direction. But there seems to obstructions in the sky. Especially in one photo that a telescope can't see through. I love the distant horizons though. You have to get rid of that blanket in the middle.

Here's my favorite. It's a Bortle scale 1 site and you have to go down a washboardy, rough 60 mile road to get there. Once there you are rewarded with a Desert oasis consisting of warm springs and Palm trees. Nights are fabulous and the skies so dark you can walk around without a flashlight, just by starshine alone.
You lucky guy.

Here's a shot of the dark site for the Rocky Mountain Star Stare last week - an area called Lost Park, about 10 miles from Kenosha Pass in Park County, CO. Great views with the 9800' elevation, but temps were in the high 30s after midnight - in July! Brrr!
