When you are on your locations chart page, there is a toolbar below the chart. It has a starmap, lp map, and some other things.

HA! I guess being highlighted in bright orange didn't make it stand out enough! Thanks.

When I first checked mine, I thought white was the best color. Then I realized it was the worst, and went into the fetal position.

And our high elevation site here:

Has these skies:

WELL worth a 2 to 2.5 hour drive from Phoenix (the ugly white blob).

And all the southern hemisphere treasures, to boot!

I'd trade you a couple of weekends even up, Vin. Whaddaya say?

Arizona high desert for the Australian Outback? Sounds like a win-win situation to me . . .

I'm not sure what even up means, Darrell, since I don't speak US English, but if that means you are paying my fares and yours, I'm packing my swag as we speak. I'll even loan you some scopes and a Southern Sky Atlas, you'll have to get used to seeing things the right way round, however.

Vin

One of the penalties you pay for good dark skies. 29°F this morning, lawn all covered with frost.
I hate building a fire in July, but I have one going this morning.

I would happily light a fire if it meant dark clear skies. Over here it's just cold and wet.....
