How to turn off Autostar controller backlight? new
      #2503466 - 07/06/08 11:15 PM

I have the AutoStar II 4.2g, and after observing a single object for a while and not using the controller will go black until I touch it again, which is great. My question, though, is there any way to control how quickly its lights go out, or some way to turn the lights off from the keypad itself?

I'm not sure about the backlight, but I use a pouch to hold my Autostar controller; when the controller is in the pouch you can't see the lights.

If I'm not mistaken press the Mode key a few times and the display and all will blank out.

If your bracket is like the one for the Autostar for the lx90 LNT, then you can just put it back into the bracket the other way around so you can't see the display.
