sunrise Fracastorius 8 july
      #2509830 - 07/10/08 12:59 AM Attachment (14 downloads)

Hello all,
here is another image from the evening of the 8th July. I caught the sunrise over the floor of Fracastorius. This showed that the floor is not flat, the shadow in the 5 o clock position indicates to me that the center of the floor is higher than the edge. Also apparent are quite a few of low relief details that I had not noticed before. Once the sun gains in elevation, the floor of this flooded crater appears quite smooth and nearly featureless. The suns Co long for this image was 330.8. Thank you for looking. Larry
