well we do get buffered a smidge by the lake ...so I think were safe for a while ...lol.
I got out last night ..finally to view from my dark sky site, my freinds Debbie and chuck showed up along with some freinds from mentor, we had a great time, minus all the dew, god was there tons of dew, my clothes were soaking wet by midnight.
Nailed 22 more messiers towards my messier club certificate. M102 is killing me though, lol. The report is in the deep sky forums.
So whats every one else doing for the labor day weekend????

Thanks Diane -- I'm counting down to it. I've been using that Siebert Binoviewer with my LX200R all summer and liked it so much that I had to get a second set of Brandons so I could get the mostest from binoviewing. WOW! Sure hope the weather is as good as that incredible three hours at BEOTS (more than that would be even better ... )
Looking forward to seeing everyone again.
See you then.

Steve, We had 3 deer in the back by the apple trees on Friday. We haven't seen many in the yard this year. Then as we were driving down the road, an entire flock (or whatever the correct term for turkeys) of wild turkeys were in the neighbor's lot. The kids and I were amazed by the number of them. We usually only see one turkey trotting through our property, but this was cool. Had to stop and watch them for a bit.
Happy hunting, be safe and may your freezer be full to feed your family!
