I am getting a new pair of Zen-ray Neptune 20x80 binoculars. I currently have a cheap SLIK tripod that is rated for 5 Lb payload. With its weight over 8 Lb, I am wondering which brand and model of tripod will be my best option. Do I need ball-head for the binoculars? Thanks a lot for everyone.
