What Do You Use For MicroMount Containers?
      #2518985 - 07/14/08 07:26 PM Attachment (7 downloads)

I received my order of some different type micromount cases today from Roman at MeteoriteLabels.Com.

They are nice square acrylic cases with padding measuring 2inX2inX3/4in.They easily fit a flat MeteoriteLabel and are well priced at $3.50 with your choice of label or $1.00 with no label.

I received my first 6 and am going to order several more this evening.

I still love my round, padded gem-cases(jars)for bing much more economical. But I will gradually try to change over my micros to the new labeled cases.

Look very nice, but costly for a larger collection-I am currently using the small round cases in the WM Rubbermaid box; but at some time in the future a more impressive case will be obtained.

It does turn out to be expensive for a largeer collection. That is why I am making the change over gradually.

With around 75 to 80 to change over(Luckily they are larger then the gem-cases and will hold about 1 1/2 to 2 round cases per square case)it will take quite a while to completely get all the square cases.
But if I continue collecting I will try to make the labeled cases the ones I use for my micromounts.

But regardless of what you put your micromounts in,its the specimen that means the most.
