Hey solshaker - I can sure see some great detail in those images. The 150% holds up very well. I might just have to add an spc900nc to my wish list...along with dark skies.

Nice one Sol...you saw my images with a 5x barlow?...i think i'll try a 2x and mabey a spacer to get more mag....using the 5x (600x) lol...might be a bit much as your 2x looks pretty good...better imho than my 5x'ers

thanks for the compliments, folks.

NAN: thats one great thing about planets. they pierce any lp like its not even there. definitely get an spc. great little cams for the buck.

Fox: yea youve got some very nice pics and those animations are great. i tried for a larger image scale in this thread here. while i liked the bigger scale im not so sure that its better than resizing with my equipment. i tried the same things i did in that thread when i took these shots, but for some reason the spc adapter kept wanting to shift in the barlow this time and i couldnt get a good focus. until i get more aperture i think ill just stick with what im doing and resize. i think my seeing can handle the mag on a consistent basis.

one day ill have those huge sharp pictures like rumples, iceman, and all the other masters that post here.
