Well, this may be old hat to the experienced, but I just stumbled on the Simbad database. I feel like I wandered into Aladdin's treasure cave. If you are not familiar with this archive, you just have to check it out. It has an astonishing amount of information, plus plots, of any deepsky object that's ever been seen. Cross references to other names for an object (very useful!), tons of detail (proper motion, type, spectra), lists of other objects within a specified distance. You can plot the object and surrounding sky, link to other databases on the same object, do complex queries. It's just an amazing resource!

I've been using simbad and found a few flaws but over all it is perfect! I just stumbled upon this though The Deep Sky Browser J2000.0 it is at messier 45! Thank you Astrokido for the hint!
