Orion 10'' reflctor on atlas eq-6 new

orion sales a 10'' reflector on an atlas EQ-6 if it were set up for ccd with guidescope, heater, ccd, etc....Will it be too heavy for this mount? The scope is about 28 lbs, 5 lb guide scope, and everything else probably >10 lbs and the you have to add the weights for balance. The mount is only rated to 40 pounds does that include the weights?

I had the 10" reflector on my Celestron cg5 mount which is rated at 30lbs and it carried the weight, verily. But celestron sold the 10" on the CG5 so I guess they felt it could handle the weight. The Atlas mount is twice as heavy as the Celestron CG5 and alot more sturdy and strong. I think the Atlas mount would handle the 10incher plus accessories no problem. I thought I remember seeing somewhere where someone stated that the 40lbs is conservative for the Atlas and it could handle 50lbs.
Its a beast and with the 10incher,It will be a huge imposing sight to say the least.

I'm running this rig now. It works well for visual and video astronomy. I've beefed up the saddle with ADM stuff and a Wilcox ring.

For DSLR imaging, check out this guy's results:
