what is the best software new

out there for finding celestial objects. also are there any interactive softwares to hook up with your scope i have a c 11.

Hi Tom,
Welcome to CN check out this link.

For planeterium programs:
On the free side most seem to like Cartes du Ciel.
On the pay side it seem the popular ones are Starry Nughts Pro or TheSky.

For planning programs:
I suggest either Skytools or AstroPlanner.

I am sure you'll get lots of suggestions.
