Hi,
I bought a used C11 which came with a adapter on the rear cell to use 2inch equipment (the factory one had been replaced). This is great for using at f10 but I have a f6.3 celestron reducer that will not attached. I bought the 1/14 celestron visual back which does fit to the reducer but not to the rear of the telescope (even when I remove the 2inch visual back. The hole at the rear cell is to large. There must be a standard part that has been removed. I contacted Celestron but have not got the issue sorted yet. What is the part that I need and where can I get it?
Thanks
Jon

It is the 3" visual back you need. It threads to the 3" and reduces it to the standard SCT thread. I may have one around here somewhere. Is this an older C11?

I believe its quite new (not the classic) as it has XLT coatings. I buy the 3" visual back if you have one.
Thanks,

You can use this adaptor, and still keep you 2" VB.

That's not a bad idea. That way there won't be the screwing and unscrewing to change the VBs out. And it's easier to rotate things too!

Hi,
Thanks guys this looks like just the thing I need. I would only need to use it when I use the corrector set-up.

The good thing about that adapter is if you decide to install a Crayford Focuser later, you can still use it with the reducer.
