Well not exactly...I picked up all the parts and made it. The standard control cable that came with the Mintron had a USB-A\V capture devise built in and the buttons were very small and sometimes finicky. I picked up a new 25' DIN cable and cut off one end and de-coded the function switch locations. A little soldering and drilling and the new control box was done. Its much easier to handle and the buttons are a dream to use now. Its so much easier to use the controller now, than trying to manipulate the switches on the back of the camera. Here is a shot of the completed controller.

Here is a shot of the old control cable with the built in USB-A\V cable which always seemed to get in the way and wasn't that comfortable to hand hold.

Very nice Kerry. I used to love to make my own astro-electronic stuff like specialized red lights, dew-heaters, and what-not. It was kind of like the hobby within the hobby. I still make what I can, when I can (my little observatory, for instance). It's such a wonderful feeling to fabricate something from loose parts and put it to use!
And you get to say, "I made this!"
