Pixel Size, Focal Length, and Aperture
      #2558656 - 08/04/08 12:28 AM

Can anyone tell me how to calculate what aperture and focal length I should be using with any given camera's pixel size?

For example, I have a 6" SCT with a native focal length of 1524mm and a Phillips SPC900N which I believe has a pixel size of 5.6 microns. What focal length should I be shooting at?

Formulas would be great.

Thanks!

Patrick
