NGC 6960 in Cygnus
      #2558930 - 08/04/08 07:21 AM

NGC 6960 is a relatively bright object in Cygnus. It could be seen quiet well in my 12" with an Orion Block at low power.

A composite of 2 shots, one with hypered Tech Pan and one with Kodak Royal 200 is here:

NGC 6960 in Cygnus

Exposure times were 30 minutes for the Tech and 45 minutes for the Royal.

Hope you enjoy!

Great effort Ralph. This is a difficult object for film - I would think - and you have captured a lot of detail there.

Lots of targets in Cygnus and it's well placed overhead.

Ralf,

Nice detail of the filaments. Great to see a tech pan shot.

Thank you!

Yes, the Tech Pan is still a very good film. Unfortunately not longer produced.
