Can anyone suggest some moderately priced eyepieces for my C130 Mak (that eventually will be modified to remove the various impediments to it's optical performance) for lunar and planetary viewing. I'd also like to do afocal projection imaging with my Nikon Coolpix 8400.
Thanks -
John

I think long eye relief eyepieces work best afocal so the image reaches the back of the camera. I mostly use a Meade Super Plossl 40mm and zoom into the image. It would also work well as your wide eyepiece for DSO hunting.

Got fed up of waiting for Meade ETX-150 so put this together for £500/$1000
