MySky Sensor Adjustment doesn't work new
      #2528785 - 07/19/08 05:43 PM

Hi all,

I got mySky today and of course I had to get the new firmware version, which made the gps acquisition work.

Well, I now have the 1.2tc firmware and I don't have the freezing,
satellite, 2008 problems anymore, but I still don't get through the
sensor adjustment.

Here is what I do:
I place mySky on the ground, as far away from cars, buildings, etc as
I can and wait for as long as what seems an eternity to me, but
nothing happens. The screen still displays the message, that I should
place mySky on a flat surface, the lights are off and I cannot figure
out why it doesn't work.
I've tried several different places with no positive results until now.

Does anyone know a solution to the problem?

I'll be very thankful for any suggestions, as to how I could make it work.

zett

I just got a MySky too, so don't have a lot of experience with it. That said, how do you "place" it on the ground? Standing on its base or laying on its side? Maybe that affects the sensor adjustment. I played with mine on my patio and just stood it on its base on various surfaces (table, patio bricks) and had no problem. Maybe it has to be standing up vs laying down?
