Hi,
After about a seven month break from lunar imaging I'm back into it now, here are two new images with more to come.
Curtius-Pentland-Simpelius imaged 07/22/08, a stack of only 74 frames which made it difficult to keep the noise down.

Catharina and Beaumont http://higginsandsons.com/astro/images/CATHARINA-BEAUMONT-09-01-07.jpg
18" Reflector, UT= 10:11, Infinity 21-m camera, MAP 91X64, stack of 74 frames.
Thanks,
Wes Higgins

Superb work as per usual Wes. Lovely contrast and dynamic range. Sharp detail in every part of both images. Really love seeing your images here again.

Wonderful images Wes.
Very interesting to look at the different shadows cast by the craters and peaks. Adds to the 3-D perspective.

Those are sick!!!
Out of interest - what would the scale be?
I estimate your Catharina shot is about 200km accross.

Thanks,
I get a measurement of about 280km across the frame, judging from some of my other images the Catharina image has a resolution down to about 500 to 600 meters, my best is about 350 to 400 meters (a Deslandres image)
