DIY Mount - Pipe mount (equatorial)
      #2561045 - 08/05/08 03:18 AM

This mount is almost completely made out of plumbingparts, except for the pedestals' foot. In this drawing I took 4" diameterparts. Tracking is done on the parts thread itself. For smaller scope thinner pipes will do the job to. In case of larger telscopes I would see to the COG of the scope is as low as possible, so the pedestal can be made shorter.
You could make an Alt-Az mount this way to.

Usage :
1- Small to large telescopes.
2- Reflector (mostly Newtontelescopes).
3- Very transportable mount.
