To build this one you need exactly the samen plumbing parts as the equatorial pipe mount. Except for the angeled part, here you need a simple T-coupling. Here again the two motions both altitude and azimuth are done by rotating the pipes on its threads.
Small disadvantage of this short mount is you need extra weights in the OTA to get this one in balance. To overcome this problem you could use a truss instead of a full tube. A truss will lower the COG of the scope.
The same short version could be used in the equatorial version of course.
Usage : 1- Small to large telescopes. 2- Reflector (mostly Newtontelescopes). 3- Very transportable mount..
