Orion AstroTrack Drive Motor
      #2561443 - 08/05/08 10:10 AM

The Orion AstroTrack drive motors fit the EQ-1 and EQ-2 mounts. They use a 9v battery for power. Sounds great, but I just read a review that said that they constrict altitude adjustment and that they don't allow you to move the scope manually. Also, the guy said that his varied in speed, especially when the battery was getting low. The next reviewer had only praise for his motor.

I am about to buy an EQ-2 and was looking forward to using this motor. Now I'm not sure. Has anyone around here had experience with one? Thanks.
