Helped that I had a 89° pass so it was very bright at over -5 at epogee. I ended up having to use 1/20,000 sec exposure at full gain so stop the action which for my 80mm ED requires a very bright target since I used a 2x barlow. Using 1/10,000 of a second just gave a great brightness image but was failing in many frames to stop the motion blur. Another thing I noticed is apparently the solar panels can swing to orient themselves to the sun (which makes sense ). You can tell i'm proud to get this one outta the way lol....now i need to get it with the shuttle there Adding a pic with a NASA image to show the orientation...keep in mind the NASA image is taken ABOVE the station by the shuttle and my image is from below. Especially for an 80mm aperture! I'm up in Saugus a few miles N of Boston, and the pass here maxed out at 82°, probably reaching -3 mag. I imaged it with a C11 and DMK21AF04.AS webcam, tracking manually.
