Speaking of PBS and orthoscopics, I have a complete set of UO orthos, but they're so difficult to pull out of the focuser I thought I'd get some O-rings to snap around the tops and make them easier to grab.
So I took one with me to the local hardware store today and told the clerk what I was looking for and why. He said, "You just missed Neil deGrasse Tyson - he was here about a half hour ago."
Wouldn't that have been cool? I would have dragged him over to see my observatory...and maybe autograph it.
