Have you noticed that noone has ever asked if you face the "Bano" north or south?

Hi,
One important step started today
The hole through which the East pier will pass thru
and here the first few centimeters of the Eastern pier
Into the holes of the blocks we will pour concrete ...
The lower part will be 1x1m and about 2m high, then a second storey 60x60cm and 126cm high. The ending will be 40x40cm goping thru the hole and then a concrete cylinder of 30cm diameter and 60cm high. The toal height will be from the foundation to where the pieradapater is 5m. The newest calculations of the architect is a weight of 7000kg ~ 15400 pounds. There is another thread here about pier mass ratios. In my case that would mean a ratio of 70:1 ... there will be 2 of those piers ...
Thanks for looking

This is going to be amazing when it's finished. Do you have any light pollution or are the skies dark?

Hi,
Well I have light pollution but that did not hinder me to build the Observatory.
As last remedy I can specialize in imaging the Moon
Here you can see my location with an overlay of the Italian world pollution map
