I have been considering the move from small chip CCD to something larger, and your comments on DSLR's indeed offered a less expensive option to the "full body" CCD's. But I did not see any comments on DSLR noise due to lack of active cooling. Have you encountered this with your DSLR? Do multiple, short (5min or less) captures cause enough heat noise to show in the images?
