Well, I can finally call this sequence closed. I'm guessing I have about 15 hours in processing and making the gif.

I didn't notice it till I did the animation, but Ganymede's shadow actually overtakes Callisto.

I e-mailed that animation to my wife at work, and she e-mailed me back asking "What is that called again?". She was referring to the "transit". I e-mailed her back and said "It is a planet in our solar system, called Jupiter". She wasn't happy with my response.

That's fantastic! I'm trying to make out which spot on the disk is, but it's upside down and I'm so confused!

Totally awesome, congrats on the wonderful capture.

On 2nd look at my data it is in fact Ganymede, Ganymede's shadow and Callisto but not Callisto's shadow (not during my captures).
