Not bright but there with direct vision, barely. Without the O-III it was only discernable with averted vision. -------------------- Two dozen eyepieces, a dozen binoculars, a half dozen refractors, two reflectors and a homemade Image Intensifier Eyepiece (IIE). Matt (cold space) and I tried comparing various filters when mallincam'ing M27 and we thought the IDAS LPS and Astronomik CLS were best.
