I'm stricken with the craze!  I was lucky enough to get a brand new 13mm T6 for my birthday a couple weeks ago. I bought a used 9mm T6 at about the same time. I started thinking that a 24mm or 35mm pan might be next.... maybe both down the road. In fact, some of you told me that you saw the 24mm in my future. I figured I'd wait for something used to show up.
Well I bought the 35mm Pan off Astromart the other day, the price was good. There was also a 24mm Pan on there that I missed out on by not being first. I started thinking about that 24mm pan last night after I went to bed. I know it would probably work better most of the time for my light polluted skies, and the 35mm is likely to get more use when I make the haul to a darker site. I was over come. I just had to get up and order that 24mm Pan. I figured while I was add it I'd order the Televue 3x barlow to compliment my Ultrascopic 2X barlow. It adds up to a lot of money spent in a very short period of time! 
In the dob that should give me:
34x, 50x, 92x, 133x (native)
100x, 185x, 267x (2x)
150x, 277x, and 400x (3x)
Heck that sure ought to satisfy me! 
I hope this bug is done with me for a while. It's expensive to feed, and I'm only going to be able to feed one of us. I don't even want to think about the Ethos variation, but yet it looms in the background.

Hey jeffro,
I was wondering, does anyone know if televue is going to be releasing any new eyepiece models anytime soon?
As i understood it, the current nagler eyepiece is quite a few years old.

 I don't think there's a long term cure for that disease - only sporadic periods of no new glass, or an empty wallet, which ever comes first.  At least when I meet my maker I can explain I was just trying to get a better view of all creation!

Wow, what a collection! You've got to be happy with all those options. 
Like kfred, I'm also thinking it's quite a good investment for two reasons. #1 is the views. #2 They are a pretty good investment monetarily. Worst case is I loose about $100 on the new ones if I sell, and just loose the price of shipping on the used ones. I don't know whether it's sad or funny, but that will out perform all my other investments for this year so far.

Seriously, Nagleritis / Pentaxification is a pretty serious disorder. There's no cure. And it only takes one! After I got a 13T6, my tolerance for edge aberrations went waaaaaaaaay downhill.

Uncle Al is smart. Just when you acquire a bunch and think your all set, he will make them smaller, better corrected. The type ones you have will be upgraded. You will have to sell them to get the type 2, then 4, then 5, and 6. Just when your all set again, he comes out with the Ethos and the affliction starts again.

I am a severe Televue addict myself.
YESTERDAY as I purchased a 2" 2x Powermate at Southeastern Camera, I said to Tony (one of the proprietors): "This is my last eyepiece purchase - I've got everything I could possibly need now". But as I turned to walk away, I noticed my toes had been crossed when I said it.
Tony replied with a friendly smile. He's heard that one before plenty of times from plenty of people.

I'm waiting for a 17mm Ethos! Yes, it would be big, but would it be bigger and heavier than my present Stratus 35mm, which the "disk brake" Alt. Adj. on my XT12i yawns over?

I don't know if I've been bitten, but I've definately been affected by airborne spores or something. I keep finding myself working out magnifications and fields of view for an Ethos 13 in my 'scopes....
And then there's my case full of TV Plossls and the 3x Barlow....
Hmm. Maybe on consideration I was bitten and have just been in denial?

Treatment is expensive... Got that a few days shy of one year ago...
So far, 32 Plössl, 24 Pan, 7, 11 and 13 Nagler T6s.
Symptoms still present, treatment on hold for ongoing fund raising campaign...

I think it's a safe bet that they will introduce a new Ethos next Spring at NEAF. I think they will complete that line before they develop anything else but that's just my 2 cents.
