Hello,

My question is if a refractor telescope with 350 or 400 mm of focal lenght and 60-80 mm apertute is a good performer for observing objects of Deep Sky like N,America nebula, Veil nebula, Crescent...

Well, if you keep the power fairly low (15x to maybe 30x) and use a nebula filter, this kind of aperture can be used to see those objects. Larger apertures will show them better, but something like an 80mm f/5 will "get your feet wet", especially for the larger objects. Clear skies to you.

Yes, IF you have a very dark sky. These objects (add M31 to this list) are in the order of 2-4 degrees across so a wide FOV nicely frames them and also makes them easier to find.

Check out this Eyepiece Calculator to see which EP will give the desired FOV.

Hi Paul

I highly recommend the Orion 120mm f/5 achromat refractor for this duty. It has good light grasp and works well with a 32mm ep.
