Taken with a SP900NC and a C6-S. Each image is a stack of about 2000 frames with Registax. They are looking a bit dark to me on my screen. You might try increasing the contrast, gamma or curves. On my screen anyway, you can now see a moon off to the side, that I didn't see in your original images. I did'n't plug in the date and time, so I'm not sure about what moon it is. Your focus seems really sharp and dead on to me. I certainly hope to post some more results soon. The moon to the side is Callisto. The frames for my animation were taken between 10:00 and 11:00 PM EST on 8/4/08. This was as Ganymede was already transiting and its shadow and Callisto were just starting to cross (This must have been an hour or two earlier than the photos you posted). Processing opinions are like addresses, each is different. When you see our fellow members, who are w/o doubt top imagers like Mike and Paul from down under, offer up advice, pay close attention. I did so recently and it helped me.
