DIY Mount - Travelscope
      #2571019 - 08/09/08 08:26 PM

This mount should be well planned to make it as small as possible. The one in the drawing (a 10") could be made smaller of course. Well planned the wooden box could be half the height of the one in the drawings. This one is about 400x400x400 mm, trusses not included. The trusses itself comes in one unit. Very handy.

Usage :
1- Small to very large telescopes.
2- Reflector (mostly Newtontelescopes).
3- Very transportable.

In the drawing you'll notice a red plastic wheel. That wheel is part of the DSC unit. This scope is built during course at our local observatory. Cost very low.
