Anyone ever tried this thing. Looks like a good idea for an ST80 on a camera tripod. But, it's only $35 as opposed to, say, the Bogen Manfrottos for over $200. Quality is suspect, huh? Also, can you disengage the gears for manual slewing, or can you manually slew anyway with the gears engaged? Just wondering if this is junk or actually worth the $35.
