Here is my latest shot of Jupiter, shot from Davenport, Iowa (planet about 24 degrees from horizon). The seeing wasn't bad, but I have to shoot over a neighbor's roof so image was going in and out of focus. My other problem is RFI (EMI) which limits me to 5 fps (even then I get some mottled effect - at 10 fps I get dark bands, even with a ferrite core - the joy of living across from a hospital, I suppose). Other parameters: old orange C8 (ca 1981), 2x barlow (F20), 601 frames (don't want to exceed 120 seconds), gain ~20%, brightness ~50%, saturation ~ 20%, NexImage processed in R4. I focused on moons at high gain & brightness. The bit of RFI I do have prevents me from using higher wavelet values to sharpen the detail (as it sharpens the RFI!).
Suggestions and other comments are welcomed!

Welcome to CN George! And that is a fine image too You captured lots of cloud band detail, even inside the GRS!
