Now it is common knowledge that these mounts when left out in the sun light will slowly fade to a purple or worse a muddy brown color. I recently heard that a coat of UV inhibiting car wax will vastly slow this process down. I have never heard this before, any one out there have any experience with this concept? Read HERE. It's localized so looks like it was caused by contact with something.
