Steve here's the link:

I purchased one of these at Star Quest about a month ago. It costs $20, but is worth every penny. I really dislike the PST's original focuser, but this little add on really makes a difference. You just simply put it on top of your existing focuser knob and secure it with a hex screw.
Here is the link to where you can purchase it:

Jeff is correct, really makes it easier to focus and looks great on the PST. Here is another image showing how large it really is.

Does anyone know the actual dimensions of the stock PST knob? Length and width? Mine is in for repairs so i have plenty of time to get out the drill press and make one out of an extra ADM Losmandy knob.

Hi Guys, I just received my first PST and of course along with it came a storm front over central Fl... I have a question for someone that has the CMC focuser knob. With the knob attached, does your scope fit back into the foam cut out or did you need to trim the foam a little? Thanks, Richard

You have to trim.

Ok thanks Bill, I was thinking the focuser wouldn't stand up to a whole lot of squeezing into the case with the extra diameter on it. I'll be getting one of CMC's knobs soon.

My PST focuser knob arrived by first class mail today (Friday) after having placed my order on Wednesday. Speedy turnaround. The fit and finish is excellent. It took less than a minute to install. Fortunately it didn't bring cloudy skies so I was able to catch Sol this evening before it set. Wow! What difference that knob makes. It is much easier to grasp without looking and the larger diameter really does make it easier to achieve a finer focus. The knob is a super value at $20. Meade, if they are still in business, ought to be OEMing this knob for the PST focuser from Criterion Machine Co. I highly recommend it. Thanks to Ralph and the CN Solar forum for turning me on to this great little PST enhancement.

Just to say my focus knob arrived safely today, complete with allen wrench to fix it over the standard focusser. I'm very pleased with it

I ordered and recieved two of those knobs also. They look exactly like the ADM knobs that I purchased for my CGE mount to hold the top onto the tripod. Except without the bolt in them.
The CMC knobs were packaged nicely and safely and came with ziplock storage bags and a seperately bagged allen wrench. Nice job all around on that piece. Now if I could just get Meade to send me back my repaired unit...

I am just following up to see how everyone is fairing with their PST Focus Knobs, and I am particularly interested in what effects they have had on your observing experiences.
Ps, The website has been updated to include purchasing instructions and info.

I'm loving my focus knob. It makes it much easier to reach fine focus, both visual and for imaging. The stock focus knob is IMHO the weakest part of the PST and this upgrade overcomes that completely
